About
Mr. Kotzias joined Bodie, Dolina, Hobbs, Friddell & Grenzer, P.C. in 2017 as an associate. He focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, including the defense of long-term care institutions and health care professionals. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kotzias served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kendra Y. Ausby of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Mr. Kotzias graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he was a staff editor for the University of Baltimore Law Forum and competed as a member of the Jessup International Law moot court team. Mr. Kotzias was also a Rule 16 Student Attorney in the Innocence Project Clinic and was a member of the team that successfully represented Malcolm Bryant, who was exonerated after spending nearly two decades in prison for a murder that he did not commit. Mr. Kotzias enjoys playing soccer and is an avid Manchester United supporter.
Mr. Kotzias is licensed to practice in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Kotzias has been recognized as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
