Bodie Lawyers “Peddle” in Support of Charity

Bodie lawyers literally “peddled” in money and support for the American Diabetes Association by participating in the Tour de Cure event on May 4th in Howard County.

Tour de CureAttorneys Tom Dolina, Chester Hobbs, and Dan Stringer helped raised more than five thousand dollars for the charity by racing in 32 and 62 mile circuits. They were joined by clients Phil Jacobson of Travelers, Michael Jennings of Carroll Independent, as well as Mitch Keiser of Keiser and Keiser.

“It was a very special day for a very special cause that we were just happy to be able to contribute to,” said Dolina. “We are fortunate to have people in our firm and who work with our firm who are committed to helping out in efforts such as these.”

The Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising cycling events held in 44 states nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is considered a ride as opposed to a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. The American Diabetes Association is the nation’s leading 501(C)3 nonprofit charity fighting against diabetes and its deadly consequences.

The American Diabetes Association describes its mission as of urgent importance. Nearly 26 million children and adults in this country are diagnosed with diabetes.
